Die Chanel is an elegant 2006 14.3H bay Westphalian German Riding Pony mare by Der Feine Lord AT out of St. Pr. St. Chanel by Chantre B. Die Chanel descends from multigenerational States Premium mares going back 3 generations on her dam side, but sadly she was imported to the USA before she could receive this title. Die Chanel showed outstanding movement, but suffered a pasture accident as a young horse and has been a career broodmare with 11 foals to date. A correct, and forward thinking mare, Die Chanel is our GRP foundation mare. Die Chanel has produced five beautiful foals for us, including two by FS Don't Worry, a 2024 filly, Dulcinea, we are retaining and a 2025 colt, Diorissimo, we are holding as a stallion prospect. Die Chanel is in foal to Milky Way for 2026 and this foal is available In-utero.

Milky Way was purchased because he stood out not only due to his exceptional movement and jump but also his character in a crazy and hectic environment. He stands just 14hh and crosses well on a variety of mares. He seems to bless his foals with exceptional temperaments and strong, elegant toplines combined with big, elastic movement. His first foal crop was born in 2018 both in Germany and North America. 90%+ of his foals were Premium at their inspections and several of his foals in Germany qualified for the Lienen foal championships.

He had a very successful 2019 show season with nearly an entire season of first place ribbons with scores over 70 in most of his tests. He competed in his first FEI 5yo test winning it with over 74%. Sadly there was no show season in 2020 due to COVID restrictions but in 2021, Emmanuelle Lord and Milky Way completed his approval requirements and more. He competed at 3rd level with scores over 68%. In 2022 he competed with a 13yo Jr rider for the first time, achieving scores as high as 70% at training level. Milky shows a lot of talent for the upper level work, especially piaffe/passage. He is continuing to school towards the upper levels with Emma while looking forward to show season.

Milky Way produces a high number of premium foals from a wide variety of mares. He was the sire of top 5 GRP and KDR foals in the Westfalen NA registry nearly every year since he has been available in NA. His offspring are well rounded, suitable for dressage as well as the hunter/jumper  rings.

Die Chanel's sire, Der Feine Lord AT, (full brother to Dance Star AT), has wonderfully expressive gaits and excellent type, combined with his strong character and good temperament, which he passes down to his offspring. Die Chanel is stamped with his quality, and possesses his beautiful head and fluid, cadenced, space-gaining gaits. Der Feine Lord's sire is the multiple European champion Dressman I and the blood of Folklore and Brilliant is found in many elite riding ponies. His dam, SPS Gina was reserve Champion of the national Mare Show in Weser Ems, and his granddam Giana was DLG Champion mare. Der Feine Lord AT was Reserve Champion of the 2003 Riding Pony Koering. After series victories in the Reitponypruefungen (9.4), the Westfaelischen Hengsthaltercups and the Rheinischen championships, Der Feine Lord became RK vice-federal Champion with the foreign rider score of 9.5. His excellent sporting career was rounded off with an outstanding victory at the stallion performance test with a score of 8.52, where he received several 9.5 rideability scores. The 2009 Dressage European Team Champion, Der Feine Lord was also a member of the Gold Medal German Pony Team. His offspring are winning FEI level dressage ponies all over Europe with Der Kleine Lord winning Euro Bronze for Great Britain with Alexandra Hellings. Full brother Dance Star AT won Bundeschampion, Vice Bundeschampion twice over, champion at his stallion grading and now successfully competing PSG level in Germany. Der Feine Lord has produced 11 graded sons, and over 20 of his daughters carry the title of State Premium Mare.

Die Chanel’s dam-sire, Chantre B, was Champion of his Stallion Licensing and Performance Test with a total score of 8.9 and scoring perfect 10's for both character and free jumping. Chantre B has produced multiple licensed sons and state premium daughters, and several Champions of the German Bundeschampionat.
